The superimposed images illustrate the connection between human acting and the animated object (Baggie).
When acting, actors have to think in events, purposes, and complexes. Through these three principles, and more, one can become a more believable actor.
Purposes and complexes help the actors understand why the character wants to achieve a certain goal.
Complexes also help the actor understand why the character are insecure about certain things. Complexes rely on the character's created past.
